The Queen honours Sir Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the internet, with "the Order of Merit".
Sir Tim invented in 1991 a system to organise, link and browse pages on the net.
The Queen honours him with "the Order of Merit", one of UK's most prestigious honours, previously received by f.e. Mother Theresa and Winston Churchill.
