IBM produces hi-tech memory
(10.04.2008) IBM scientists are working on a technology with a storage capacity of 100 times more then existing MP3 players.
This technology, the racetrack memory, could produce a storage medium that is cheap, durable and fast and could replace both flash and hard drives in computers and other gadgets.

But this racetrack memory is still 7 to 8 years away from commercial use.
